The Project
Optime filled the National H&S Manager role, provided ergonomic assessments for all office based employees, and shift pattern/fatigue management advice. Optime also assisted Lion Co with the decommissioning of the Newmarket site and the move to their new site.
The Optimation
In the National H&S Manager role, Optime managed all aspects of health and safety nationwide, reporting to the Australasian Director for Safety. This included presenting performance data to the NZ Board and supporting management in their H&S responsibilities and duties. The decommissioning of the old brewery site included all aspects of contractor management, development of safe systems of work and overall performance management.
Success
Optime built a strong relationship with the organisation and the Optime Way has been part of a significant change in safety culture over the past three years.
